Here is what you need for this delicious recipe:
- 4 potatoes
- 1 cup Besan Chickpea flour
- ½ cup water
- ¼ tsp Baking Soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- A pinch of Coriander powder
Start by cutting potatoes in thin and round slices. You can do this using a potato slicer or by hand. If you doing it by hand, make sure the slices are really thin or it wont cook good. In a large bowl, add chickpea flour. Add water and beat vigorously with a blender. Keep adding water and mix until smooth. Add baking soda and mix. Baking soda is added to give it that puffy and crusty look.
Continue by adding salt and Mix well. Heat Oil. Dip sliced potatoes in the mixture and then fry it till its golden brown. Use a strainer to take them out or use a towel paper to absorb the extra oil.
