Here is how to make delicious home made rice with veggies: Dumbukhtar tarkari mazadar
Here is all the ingredients you need for this yummy rice recipe:
½ cup oil
2 onions, chopped
½ tbsp, turmeric powder
2 tomatoes, chopped
¼ cup water
2 ½ premade soup or water
½ tbsp, char masala
1 tsp, cumin
1 tbsp, salt
Add Vegetables of your choice and as much as you would like.
Here we are adding:
Spinach
Celery
Green & Red peppers
Small Cabbage
Carrots
Potatoes
Coriander
Green beans
&
Peas
2 ½ basmati Rice
½ cup water

Wash basmati rice and soak it in water for few hours or over night. Cut all the fresh vegetables and have them ready.

We will use pressure cooker to speed up the process and make the rice tastier. In a pressure cooker, add corn oil. Continue by adding chopped onions. When onions are brown, add turmeric powder and tomatoes. Fry them well and add water or premade soup. Add char masala, cumin and salt. Mix well and add all fresh vegetables of your choice as much as you want. Here we are adding Spinach, Celery, Green & Red peppers, Small Cabbage, Carrots, Potatoes, Coriander, Green beans & Peas. Close the pressure cooker and Cook on high for 5 minutes and then low on 5 minutes. Open the pressure cooker and add basmati rice and a bit more water. Close the pressure cooker and Cook on high for 5 minutes and then low on 5 minutes. Open the pressure cooker and serve on a plate with fresh salad.
